Le Desert is a former French commune with the last 82 residents (as of 1 January 2013), the Désertois , in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2016, Le Désert was incorporated into the new municipality of Valdallière as part of a regional reform together with 13 neighboring municipalities .
