Trevor Fitzgerald Booker (born November 25, 1987 in Newberry , South Carolina ) is a retired American basketball player who played for eight years in the North American professional league NBA .
Career
Booker played for Clemson Tigers at college level for four years . Upon graduation, he was selected 23rd in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and transferred directly to the Washington Wizards . He played four years for the Wizards and got 6.4 points with a 53.4% hit rate and 5.1 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2016, Booker signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets . In December 2017, Booker was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers . In order to create space for another player in the squad, the 76ers and Booker agreed in March 2018 to terminate the existing contract. Booker then signed a new working paper with the Indiana Pacers for the remainder of the season .
In April 2020, Booker announced his retirement from professional sports.
