Trevor Fitzgerald Booker (born November 25, 1987 in Newberry , South Carolina ) is a retired American basketball player who played for eight years in the North American professional league NBA .

Career

Booker played for Clemson Tigers at college level for four years . Upon graduation, he was selected 23rd in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and transferred directly to the Washington Wizards . He played four years for the Wizards and got 6.4 points with a 53.4% ​​hit rate and 5.1 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2014 he signed a two-year contract with Utah Jazz . Booker scored a career record of 36 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on April 11, 2015 . For Jazz he scored 7.2 points and 5.0 rebounds on average. Most clearly he improved his three-point throw. At the Wizards, Booker hit a three-point throw in 10 attempts in four years. For the Jazz it was 29 out of 84 attempts. The following year didn't go that well for Booker and he was pushed out of rotation by Trey Lyles .

In the summer of 2016, Booker signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets . In December 2017, Booker was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers . In order to create space for another player in the squad, the 76ers and Booker agreed in March 2018 to terminate the existing contract. Booker then signed a new working paper with the Indiana Pacers for the remainder of the season .

In April 2020, Booker announced his retirement from professional sports.
