Devin Booker (born February 28, 1991 in Whitmire , South Carolina ) is an American basketball player.

Life & Career

High School & College Careers

Booker played basketball for four years at Union County High School in Union, South Carolina , before playing for the Clemson Tigers from 2009 to 2013 .

Professional career

Booker started his professional career in Europe, in France in the LNB Pro A season 2013/2014, with SLUC Nancy Basket , from where he went to the LNB Pro B at JL Bourg-en-Bresse in the same year . In Bourg-en-Bresse he developed into a high performer and became LNB Pro B Finals Most Valuable Player of the 2013–2014 LNB Pro B season.

At the beginning of 2015 he returned to the LNB Pro A and signed with Élan Chalon , where he took part in the FIBA Europa Cup and ultimately finished third with the team. In the following year 2015/2016 he became LNB Pro A Most Valuable Player.

After Booker took part in the NBA Summer League with the New York Knicks in June 2016, he signed with the Bundesliga basketball club FC Bayern Munich on July 17, 2016 . For the 2019/20 season, Booker moved to BK Chimki in Russia.

Personal

Devin is the brother of basketball player Trevor Booker , who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA , and the cousin of Jordan Hill , who played for the New York Knicks , Houston Rockets , Los Angeles Lakers , Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA .
