Trevorton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Zerbe Township , Northumberland County , Pennsylvania in the United States . At the time of the 2010 United States Census , Trevorton had 1,834 residents.

Trevorton's geographic coordinates are 40 ° 47 ' N , 76 ° 40' W (40.781510, -76.674259). The site is at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 225 and Pennsylvania Route 890 , in the east-northeast-west-southwest trending valley that lies between Big Mountain and Little Mountain . The Zerbe Run flows through this valley and drains the village. In addition, the route of the abandoned railway line of the Trevorton, Mahanoy and Susquehanna Railroad runs through the place.

At the time of the United States Census 2000, Trevorton were inhabited in 2010. The population density was 181.3 people per km ². There were 931 housing units at an average of 84.0 per km ².
