Tod Rex Salvador (born June 29, 1965 in Pennsylvania ), alias Tripp Eisen , is a guitarist and a former member of the bands Dope , Murderdolls and Static-X .

Musical career

Tripp was born on June 29, 1965 in northeastern Pennsylvania. He started playing the trumpet and piano at age 12 and was a member of a marching band while in high school. At Christmas 1978 he got his first guitar from his parents.

After graduating from high school, he moved to New Jersey. He was playing in some industrial bands there when he met Edsel Dope. In late 1997, Tripp moved to New York City to play bass in Dopes band "Dope". Guitarist at that time was Sloane Jentry, who left the band for some time in autumn 1999. Then Tripp took over the position on guitar.

In 2000 he started playing with the band "The Rejects" and therefore left Dope. A little later, The Rejects was renamed "Murderdolls". At this time Koichi Fukuda left Static-X and then Tripp got there in the spring of 2001 as a guitarist and helped with the completion of the album Machine . In August 2002 he left the Murderdolls to concentrate on his work at Static-X, where he has since been involved in the songwriting for Shadow Zone .

Sexual abuse conviction

He was arrested on February 24, 2005 on suspicion of sexual abuse of a minor, after having been arrested for a few hours two weeks earlier on similar suspicion and released on bail, after which he fled. On June 24th, Tripp was sentenced to one year imprisonment, from which he was released early on October 7th, 2005.

Dope and Murderdolls had already left Death Rex Salvador before 2005. After the allegations became known, Static-X also split from him.
