Tromla (* 5. January 1975 in St. Ingbert as Christoph Hans ) is a German drummer .

Life

As a classically trained drummer, he played for a few years with the State Youth Symphony Orchestra Saar and the St. Ingbert mountain band . From the 1990s he played in regional bands, including the disco band Fresh and the rap group Bodenlose Chechheit .

In 1997 Tromla founded the electro-radio group Reaktor together with bassist Flo: Pee . The band existed until 2004 and released two CDs.

From the end of the 1990s he often improvised as a live drummer to DJ music in the field of electronic dance music . There were performances with the DJs Blake Baxter , Stewart Walker , Doc Phatt , Märtini Brös and Cristian Vogel or in the hip-hop area with Boulevard Bou or Denyo in clubs and discos all over Germany. For two years he had his own Friday club night in the Saarbrücken Blau Niteclub called Tromlas Elektroklub .

Tromla also had performances of an experimental nature: He played a 24-hour, meditative drum solo in the Johanneskirche Saarbrücken in 2001 and published a 60-minute improvisation on a single pot with the album Eintopf.

Others

Under his birth name Christoph Hans , Tromla self-published a comic in 1994. In 2004 he tried his hand at directing a trash no-budget film called Der Hering , in which Lukas Goldbach , Katharina Bihler and Stefan Scheib were actors, among others .
