Truschky ( Ukrainian Трушки , Russian Трушки Truschki ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 2500 inhabitants (2001).
The village, mentioned for the first time in 1700, is the only place of the district council of the same name in the west of the Bila Tserkva district . Trushky is located on the banks of the Rostawyzja ( Роставиця ), a 116 km long tributary of the Ros 18 km southwest of the Rajon center Bila Tserkva and about 100 km southwest of the city center of Kiev . The T-10-13 territorial road runs through the village .
Personalities
The Ukrainian teacher, professor and university director Mykyta Hryschtschenko ( Ukrainian Микита Минович Грищенко ) was born in the village in 1900 .
