Trutzhof is a district of the town of Burghausen in the Altötting district in Upper Bavaria . Until 1977 Trutzhof was part of the former municipality of Raitenhaslach .

For the first time as a district, but not yet officially named, Trutzhof appears in the documentation for the 1950 census. At that time, two residential buildings and 35 inhabitants were recorded. In the 1961 census, 39 residents are found in four residential buildings. In 1970 there were 52 inhabitants in the Trutzhof and paper mill. In the census on May 25, 1987, two residential buildings with eight apartments and 17 residents were found.

Historical paper mill "Trutzhof"

The former paper mill, which gave its name to the paper mill , is now called Trutzhof . The building received this name from the painter Richard Strebel , who lived here from 1919 to 1940. The paper mill belonging to the Cistercian monastery Raitenhaslach was built with a mansard hipped roof around 1820/35 and has been rebuilt several times since then. After secularization , paper was still made until the end of the 19th century, when the paper mill was converted into an art mill . In 1922, half of the structure (the commercial part) was demolished and only the residential building remained, which previously served as a stately home for the "paper millers". Agricultural buildings belong to the Trutzhof.
