The Tschawasch ( Russian Чаваш ) is a right tributary of the Cham Sara in the north in Central Asia located Russian Republic of Tuva .

The Tschawasch rises on the southern flank of the eastern West Sayan near the border with the Krasnoyarsk region . It initially flows in an easterly direction through the mountains. Then he turns south. It flows down into the Todscha Basin . 20 km before its mouth, the Kasas ( Kara-Chem ) meets the Tschawasch from the left. Finally the Tschawasch flows into the Chamsara , 10 km above its mouth in the Great Yenisei, which flows westwards . The Tschawasch has a length of 132 km². Its catchment area covers 4800 km².
