The Chamsara ( Russian Хамсара́, Хамсыра ; Tuvinian Чойган-хем ( Tschoigan-Chem )) is a right tributary of the Great Yenisei in the Russian Republic of Tuva in Central Asia .

The Chamsara rises in Eastern Sayan in the northeast of the Tuva Republic on the border with Buryatia . It flows mainly in a westerly direction through the Todscha Basin and finally flows into the Great Yenisei. The right tributaries Dotot , Kizhi -Chem and Tschawasch flow to it. The Chamsara has a length of 325 km. It drains an area of ​​19,400 km². The mean discharge 178 km above the mouth is 90 m³ / s.
