Tschornomyn ( Ukrainian Чорномин ; Russian Черномин Tschernomin , Polish Czarnomin ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Vinnytsia with about 1200 inhabitants (2015).
The village was founded in the 16th century was called until 1835 Rosbijne ( Розбійне ) in the village is located to the 1820s by Italian architect Francesco Boffo Carlo ( Франческо Карло Боффо ; 1796-1867), built in neoclassical style Tschornomynskyj Palace ( Чорноминський палац ) an architectural monument. Today there is a school in what locals call the White House .
The village had a total of 1666 inhabitants at the 2001 census.
Geographical location
The village is located at an altitude of 228 m on the bank of the Sawran , a 97 km long right tributary of the Southern Bug , 10 km east of the Pishchanka district center and 140 km south of the Vinnytsia oblast center .
The T-02-25 territorial road runs through the village . The local sugar factory has a train station at a connection to the Hajworon narrow-gauge network .

Chornomyn is the administrative center of the eponymous, 53.81 km² district council in the east of Pishchanka district , to which the villages Kosliwka ( Козлівка , ⊙ ) with about 400 inhabitants and Rybky ( Рибки , ⊙ ) with about 30 inhabitants and the settlement Popeljuchy ( Попелюхи , ⊙ ) with about 450 inhabitants.
