Tschornykiw ( Ukrainian Чорників ; Russian Черников Tschernikow , Polish Czerników ) is a village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Volyn Oblast with about 200 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1885, belongs administratively to the municipality of Ustyluh, founded in 2015 ( Устилузька міська громада Ustyluska miska hromada ) in the west of Volodymyr-Wolynskyj district . The wooden church of St. Trinitatis, built in 1907, is located in the village.
The village is located at an altitude of 184 m at the mouth of the 18 km long Isivka ( Ізівка ) in the Bug , which forms the western border of Ukraine with Poland and the European Union . Chornykiw is located 11 km southwest of the Ustyluh community center , 24 km west of the Wolodymyr-Wolynskyj district center and 98 km west of the Lutsk Oblast center . The Wolodymyr-Wolynskyj-Sławków railway runs along the village .
