The Turn- und Sportverein Hachenburg 1846/1919 eV is a German sports club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Hachenburg in the community of the same name in the Westerwaldkreis . The number of members is over 1700, making the sports club the largest in its district.

history

Soccer

post war period

For the 1947/48 season , the first soccer team was incorporated into the second-class Rhineland regional league. However, the team did not last long there and was quickly relegated.

Current time

Since 1994 the department has been part of a syndicate with SGN Müschenbach. In the 2007/08 season this played in the district league A district Westerwald / victory , but rose at the end of the season with 26 points over the twelfth place in the district league B. After the 2009/10 season, he won the championship title with 73 points and was promoted again directly. Already after the 2011/12 season, with 60 points, the championship was again achieved and promotion to the Rhineland East district league, where the class has been held to this day.

At the German Athletics Championships in 1987 , Christiane Leukel , who started for the TuS, came in seventh place with 4: 26.55 minutes over the 1500 m . In 2005 the decathlon team also landed in fourth place in the final with 19,324 points.
