The soccer regional league Rhineland 1947/48 was the first season of the regional league as the highest amateur division in the northern part of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, founded in 1946. It covered the area of the former administrative districts of Koblenz , Montabaur and Trier and was located below the north group of the former 1st Southwest League (also known as the North Zone League ). The league was divided geographically into two seasons with twelve clubs each. Eintracht Trier was Rhineland champion in 1948 and rose to the 1st League Southwest. Information about the relegation regulation has not survived.
