The  soccer amateur league Rhineland 1974/75  was the 23rd season of the 1st amateur league , the predecessor of the  Verbandsliga Rheinland , also called the Rhineland League. This league represented the substructure of the 2nd Bundesliga until 1978 and was therefore third-class in the overall league hierarchy.

Rhineland champion was Eintracht Trier , who finished second in the south-west group in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga South and thus had to play in the amateur league in the coming season. The VfL Neuwied participated as Rhineland-representatives at the German Football Amateur Championship in 1975 in part and failed in the first round at the SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg  (Württemberg). BC Ahrweiler , SpVgg Bendorf , SG Eintracht Lahnstein and SC Rhein-Ahr Sinzig had to go down to the 2nd amateur league . For the following season 1975/76 came as climbers from the 2nd amateur league: Alemannia Plaidt , SpVgg EGC Wirges and SV memory .
