Tulip Air was a Dutch charter airline based in Rotterdam and based at Rotterdam Airport . The airline operated charter flights in the Netherlands for a number of travel companies . Tulip Air had to file for bankruptcy in 2004 .

history

Tulip Air was founded in 1988 as a domestic airline from Rotterdam. With the passenger boom in the 1990s, Tulip Air also flew to airports abroad. In the beginning Frankfurt Airport and Niederrhein Airport arrived, later airports all over Europe were added. In 2000, the freight business was taken over by Farnair, subsequently the company only operated air taxi flights. The bankruptcy was in 2004.
