Tulipa goulimyi is a species of tulip ( Tulipa ) in the lily family (Liliaceae).

Tulipa goulimyi is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 8 to 27 centimeters. This geophyte forms onions as persistent organs. The onion skins are thickly felted inside. The lower leaves are gray-green and wavy. The petals are 42 to 52 millimeters in size, elliptical to obverse-shaped, blunt, bright orange to brownish-red in color and ciliate at the base. The anthers are 7.5 to 9 millimeters in size.

The flowering period extends from March to April.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 24 or 36.

Occurrence

Tulipa goulimyi occurs in the southwestern Aegean in the Phrygana , on open ground and in fallow land , in Crete at altitudes of 50 meters.
