The Tungir ( Russian Тунгир ) is a right tributary of the Oljokma in the Transbaikalia region in the south of eastern Siberia .

The Tungir rises in the Tungir ridge ( Тунги́рский хребе́т ) east of the headwaters of the Oljokma. It flows through the mountains in an east-northeast direction. At the village of Gulja it then turns north-northwest and flows into the upper reaches of the Oljokma on the right at Sredni Oljokma. The Tungir has a length of about 500 km. It drains an area with an area of ​​14,700 km². The rapids порог Мадьярский Перекат lies on the river. The mean discharge (MQ) at the mouth is around 90 m³ / s. The river is ice-covered for 3–3½ months in winter.
