Turbulence 3 , also Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal is an American action - thriller from 2001. He appeared in Germany in two versions: a truncated Rated: 16 and an uncut: 18 version. It is the second sequel to the 1997 film Turbulence .

Slade Craven is a rock musician who was invited to a final concert with forty other winners. He wants to arrive in Los Angeles with a converted Boeing 747 . It soon becomes clear that there are also air pirates among the passengers who want to bring the machine under control and crash with it. If the plane comes too close to a city, it threatens to be shot down by the FBI . Only Sky Marshal Nick Watts has a chance.
