The Turja ( Ukrainian Тур'я ; Slovak Turja ; Hungarian Turia ) is a river in western Ukraine in the Transcarpathian Oblast in the catchment area of the Tisza .

The river arises in Turi Remety by the confluence of the rivers Schipot (Шіпот) and Svir (Звір). It then flows in a westerly direction in the valley and flows into the Ush east of the town of Peretschyn near Simer .

The name "Turja" also gives several places in the Turja Valley a part of their name.
