Turkmenistan Airlines ( Turkmen Türkmenhowaýollary ) is the national airline of Turkmenistan based in Ashgabat and based on the airport Ashgabat .

history

Turkmenistan Airlines was founded in 1992 as a national airline.

In 2007 the airline presented a new design for its aircraft, the first machine to be painted in this color scheme was a newly delivered Boeing 737-800 with the aircraft registration EZ-A004 .

Due to safety concerns, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) revoked the airline's operating license in the entire EU airspace in February 2019. The flight ban was lifted in October 2019.

Destinations

Turkmenistan Airlines flies from Ashgabat to destinations in Central and East Asia and Europe . In German-speaking countries is Frankfurt served.
