Tuula Minetti , better known as Tuula Myllyniemi , (born November 9, 1964 ) is a former Finnish squash player .

Career

Tuula Myllyniemi played on the WSA World Tour from the 1980s to the 2000s . She reached her highest place in the world rankings with rank 35 in July 1999. With the Finnish national team she took part in the world championships in 1985 , 1989 , 1990 , 1992 , 1994 and 1996 , as well as several times in European championships . In 1990 she finished third with the team at the European Championships. Between 1989 and 1994 she was four times in the main draw of the world championship singles. She achieved her best result when she entered the third round in 1990 and 1992 . Myllyniemi is the record winner at the Finnish championships : she won the title a total of 20 times, 16 times in a row from 1985 to 2000.
