The Twin Peaks (dt .: Twin Peaks ) are two hills in San Francisco in the US - State of California . With a height of 276 m (northern summit) and 277 m (southern summit), they represent the second highest natural elevation in San Francisco after Mount Davidson .

You are in a nature park, the Twin Peaks Natural Area . At the two summits leading Twin Peaks Boulevard , where on the north side of the hill, a car park with viewpoint ( Christmas Tree Point , German Christmas tree point located), which offers a beautiful view over the city of San Francisco.

The Spanish conquerors and the first settlers called the two hills "Los Pechos de la Chola", which roughly means "the breasts of the Indian girl".

The name Twin Peaks is also used for the neighborhood that extends around the hills.
