Two Door Cinema Club is a 2007 in Bangor and Donaghadee in Northern Ireland founded British indie rock - band with electro -Einflüssen.
Band history
Alex Trimble and Sam Halliday, who already knew each other from school, joined forces with Kevin Baird in 2007 and founded the Two Door Cinema Club . The three students gave up their studies, got a recording contract with the French label Kitsuné and in 2009 released their critically acclaimed debut, the EP Four Words to Stand On .
After performing at the Glastonbury Festival in 2009 , they were included in the Sound of 2010 nomination list , the BBC's forecast for the most promising newcomers, at the end of the year . Her debut album Tourist History was released in early March and reached number 24 in the UK charts. It also won the Choice Music Prize for Best Irish Album of 2010.
In 2010, the band contributed the song I Can Talk, a soundtrack for the games FIFA 11 and NBA 2K11 . In the same year they were represented with the song Undercover Martyn in the game Gran Turismo 5 . Sleep Alone followed in 2012 for the FIFA 13 soundtrack . Also in FIFA 17 they are with the song Are We Ready? Part of the game.
