FIFA 17 is a soccer simulation game from EA Sports that was released in September 2016. It is the 24th edition of theEA Sports FIFA series . The game was sold more than a million times in Germany within a few days.

Innovations

FIFA 17 is the first story mode in the FIFA series. In The Journey , the player slips into the role of young star Alex Hunter, who wants to assert himself in the Premier League . In addition to what is happening on the pitch, the player also has to prove himself in interviews and other cutscenes. The playing time is limited to one season. Since the second update there is also a German synchronization of the cutscenes.

On June 24, 2016 it was announced that the Japanese J1 League will be playable in FIFA 17. Gamba Osaka's Suita City Football Stadium is also featured in the game.
