The Tyrma ( Russian Тырма ) is a left tributary of the Bureja in the Khabarovsk region in the Far East of Russia .
The Tyrma rises in the Little Hinggan Mountains near the border with the Jewish Autonomous Oblast . It flows mainly in a north-westerly direction. It passes the place of the same name Tyrma and after 334 km reaches the Bureja, which is dammed up to form the Bureja reservoir . The catchment area of the Tyrma covers 15,100 km². The mean discharge (MQ) 12 km above the mouth is 195 m³ / s. The river is ice-covered between November and the end of April. The main tributaries of the Tyrma are Jaurin ( Яурин ) from the left, and Gudjal ( Гуджал ) and Sutyr ( Сутырь ) from the right.
