criticism

The German hip-hop magazine Juice rated UGK 4 Life at the end of 2011 with four out of a possible six “crowns”. In his review, the editor Sascha Ehlert praised the “ unique musical interweaving of blues, gospel and soul. "The" Texas slang "and the" soulful crooner - hooks "also received a positive rating. UGK 4 Life enables the listener to feel " the dry heat of Port Arthur , Texas " almost physically. Ehlert, on the other hand, highlights the contribution of the singer Akon negatively . In summary, UGK's sixth album is an " appropriate conclusion to the joint story of Bun B and Pimp C ".
