The US Darts Masters is a darts tournament organized by the PDC as part of the World Series of Darts . The first edition was held in 2017 at the Tropicana Las Vegas .
The Dutchman Michael van Gerwen was able to secure the title of the first tournament with an 8: 6- legs final victory over Northern Irishman Daryl Gurney .
format
A total of 16 players take part in the tournament. These include the top 6 of the PDC Order of Merit , two wildcard players and 8 local qualifiers.
The tournament will be played in a knockout system . In the 1st round the game mode is a best of 19 legs . The semi-finals and the final are played in the best of 21 legs mode.
Prize money
The tournament will pay out a total of $ 74,500 in prize money. The prize money is distributed among the participants as follows:
