The UZB - Nádor and István were two tender locomotives of the Hungarian Central Railway (UZB) Austria-Hungary .

The locomotives were delivered by the Vienna branch of the William Norris company in 1846 as uncoupled machines. They got the names NÁDOR and ISTVÁN . The machines had inner frames and outer, obliquely arranged cylinders. The standing boiler ceiling was hemispherical. The mechanical engineering director of the UZB John Baillie recognized very early that uncoupled locomotives did not meet the needs of the UZB. He therefore had the two locomotives converted into double-coupled machines in 1855. The drive wheels were coupled by two parallel round bars. The vehicles were designed for wood combustion and carried both passenger and freight trains.

The table shows the technical data after the renovation in 1855.

When the UZB merged with the kk southeastern state railway (SöStB) in 1850 , the two machines were given operating numbers 15–16. When the SöStB was then sold to the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG) in 1855 , the machines were given the company numbers 71-72. In 1864 they came to the Hungarian Northern Railway as construction locomotives and were retired in 1866.
