U 3501

U 3501 was a German type XXI submarine. The keel was laid on March 19, 1944 at the Schichau shipyard in Danzig . It was put into service with the 8th Flotilla (Danzig) on ​​July 29, 1944 under Lieutenant Captain Helmut-Walter Münster. It was later used as a training boat until it was used as an electricity supplier after a bomb hit. On May 5, 1945 U 3501 was sunknear Wesermünde itself.
