Domazan is located between Nîmes and Avignon in the middle of the Côtes du Rhône Villages wine-growing region . The area has been inhabited for 3500 years. Neighboring municipalities are Rochefort-du-Gard , Saze , Aramon , Théziers and Estézargues .
