From 4th to 7th July 1629 Louis XIII stayed . in Bezouce and received the address of allegiance from the Protestants of Nîmes.

The 11th century church of Bezouce (enlarged in 1837 and 1858) was originally built in the Romanesque style , the extensions in Gothic . On December 8, 1482 Jacques de Caulers was ordained Bishop of Nîmes in her.
