Saint-Geniès-de-Malgoirès ( Occitan : Sant Giniès de Malgoiriès ) is a southern French municipality with 3,007 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Nîmes and the canton of Calvisson .

Saint-Geniès-de-Malgoirès is located about 20 kilometers northwest of Nîmes . Saint-Geniès-de-Malgoirès is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Sauzet in the north, Saint-Chaptes in the northeast, La Calmette in the east, La Rouvière in the southeast, Montignargues in the south, Montagnac in the southwest, Mauressargues in the west and Domessargues in the northwest.
