Poulx is a French commune with 3933 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department of the Occitanie region .
geography
The village is located northeast of the Garrigue and six kilometers from Nîmes . In the village, the departmental roads to Nîmes and Uzès cross .
Culture and sights

Demographics
Population development
In 1962 the community had only 160 inhabitants. The number rose to more than 4,000 at the beginning of the 21st century. However, the settlement area is surrounded by nature reserves, so that the population could rise to a maximum of around 4500 inhabitants.
