Laval-Saint-Roman ( Occitan : La Vau de Sant Roman ) is a French commune with 217 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitania region ( Languedoc-Roussillon until 2015 ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Nîmes and the canton of Pont-Saint-Esprit .

Laval-Saint-Roman is located about 53 kilometers north-northeast of Nîmes and about 30 kilometers northwest of Orange . Laval-Saint-Roman is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aiguèze in the north and east, Saint-Christol-de-Rodières in the south, Issirac in the south and southwest and Le Garn in the west.
