Fons-sur-Lussan is located about 39 kilometers north of Nîmes and about 20 kilometers east-northeast of Alès . The neighboring municipalities of Fons-sur-Lussan are Méjannes-le-Clap in the north and north-east, Lussan in the south and east, Bouquet in the south and south-west, Allègre-les-Fumades in the west and Rivières in the north-west.
