Issirac is a French commune with 310 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Nîmes and the canton of Pont-Saint-Esprit . The inhabitants are called Issiracois .
geography
Issirac is located about 50 kilometers north-northeast of Nîmes and about 30 kilometers northwest of Orange . Issirac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Garn in the north, Laval-Saint-Roman in the northeast, Saint-Christol-de-Rodières in the east, Cornillon in the south, Saint-André-de-Roquepertuis in the south and southwest, Montclus in the west and Orgnac -l'Aven to the northwest.
