Saint Kilaire Church

Saint-Hilaire-d'Ozilhan is a French commune with 1,069 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department of the Occitanie region .

geography

The village, which is near the Pont du Gard , is four kilometers east of Remoulins and four kilometers north of the slip road to the A9 .

history

Initially, the village was dominated by a medieval castle. In 1441, the residents of Charles VII received the order to rebuild the castle on the plain using the old materials.
