Tresques is a French commune with 1806 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Nîmes and the canton of Bagnols-sur-Cèze .
geography
The municipality, characterized by historical buildings, is located on an elevation in the valley of the Tave , a right tributary of the Cèze . The town of Bagnols-sur-Cèze is five kilometers northeast, and Avignon is 25 kilometers south.
