Gajan is located 13 kilometers northwest of the city center of Nîmes . Gajan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Rouvière in the north and east, Nîmes in the south-east, Parignargues in the south, Saint-Mamert-du-Gard in the south-west, Fons in the west and Saint-Bauzély in the north-west.
