Uaicana ( Uai Cana ) is a place in the East Timorese municipality of Baucau . From 1936 until shortly after the Second World War the place was called Póvoa de Loureiro ( German  hamlet of the laurel tree ).

Uaicana is located in the south of the Sucos Bado-Ho'o of the administrative office Venilale , at an altitude of 237  m . The Buihiu , a tributary of the Seiçal, flows south . The place has a primary school. At Uaicana are the hot springs of Bee Manas , where you can bathe. They were a popular destination in colonial times.

The Aldeia Uaicana has 368 members.
