The Ubbink-Syntec Cycling Team was a Dutch cycling team that was licensed as a UCI Continental Team .
history
The Ubbink-Syntec Cycling Team was founded in 2006, went from the former AXA Pro-Cycling Team , had a license as a UCI Continental Team , the team manager was Ton Welling and the sporting director was John den Braber . The team consisted of 12 Dutch drivers. Eight of the drivers were previously with AXA, four new drivers were added. In 2007 the size of the team increased by one driver to 13 with four departures and five newcomers. After the end of the 2007 season, the team was disbanded.
successes
The successes in the 2006 season were booked by Marvin van der Pluijm , who won the one-day race Ster van Zwolle , and Niki Terpstra , who won the 6th stage of the Tour de Normandie 2006 , the 4th stage of the Tour of Belgium 2006 and the 4th stage, as well as the overall ranking of the OZ Wielerweekend tour . The successes in the 2007 season were achieved by Dennis Smit , who won the one-day race Ster van Zwolle , and Paul van Schalen , who won the 9th stage of the Olympia's Tour 2007 and the 1st stage of the OZ Wielerweekend tour .
