Uday Krishna Prabhu

Uday Krishna Prabhu (born October 12, 1954 ) is a former Indian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

At the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf in 1977 , he was sixth in the individual competition and seventh with the Asian team in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 1978 he won silver over 400 m at the Asian Games in Bangkok , and in 1979 he was eighth in the Asian 4-by-400-meter relay at the World Athletics Cup in Montreal .

On May 8, 1977, he set a national record in Chandigarh with 46.6 s, which lasted until 1998.
