Udo Niebergall (born April 10, 1968 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German musician , music producer and concert organizer. Since November 1995 he has been the founder and managing director of Beatdisaster Records as well as owner of Master Control Music Publishing and the We Love Music event agency.

With over seven million records sold (singles + albums) and over 35 million compilations sold, Udo Niebergall is one of the most successful music producers in Germany. He received 20 gold and platinum awards. Niebergall placed 16 singles by six artists in the German Top 100 .

biography

In 1988 Niebergall produced his first record "Houseman" under the pseudonym Voyou, which was released by Westside on the SevenEleven label and hit the Billboard charts . Westside was the springboard for a number of well-known artists, DJs and producers such as Michael Münzing ( Snap! ), Camouflage , Scooter , Talla 2XLC and many more.

In 1989 Niebergall brought the acid wave from England to Germany with the single Dux Dux "This Is a Sound" and posted his first chart hit. In 1990 he founded the techno label Overdrive , which was distributed by Discomania . In a very short time it established itself as one of the most well-known and most successful scene labels in Europe and produced artists such as Mark NRG, Tom Wax & Norman. Niebergall then specialized in commercial dance productions and with the cover version of "Vamos a la playa" by the group TNT Partyzone (EMI) was able to penetrate the top 30 of the German charts for the first time.

In 1993 the group “M” released the track “Razzia” with over 80,000 sold records of the cult record with a police sample. In 1994 a techno version of the Peter Schilling classic Major Tom followed . The remix Major Tom 94 reached number 29 on the Media Control Charts and created a whole new wave that broke through Germany: NDD, the new German dance floor.

From 1999 to 2003 Niebergall was the owner of the large and well-known techno club Palazzo (with DJs such as WestBam , Sven Väth , Jeff Mills , Milk & Sugar , Phats & Small, Hooligan, Mark 'Oh , DJ Taucher ).

In 1995 he made his worldwide breakthrough with the pop act Captain Jack . In 1998 he was commissioned to produce George Glück for the music group Fresh Paint , which hit the charts with the single Shalali lala .

In 2003 he covered The End of The Doors with his own band Tube-Tech and reached number 1 in the German DJ charts and number 88 in the single charts. The title was published in 23 countries.
