The Uka springs north of the Sredinny Range situated volcano Uka . The river is fed by a glacier at an altitude of 1000 m . The Uka flows east for the first 70 km. It then forms numerous meanders and turns to the northeast. She reaches Liman Ukinski , a lagoon-like beach lake on the coast of the Bering Sea. The Natschiki , which runs further north, also flows into the Liman Ukinski . The Uka flows through the Liman and finally flows into the sea. The catchment area of the Uka covers 4480 km².
