Ulf Eversberg (born January 9, 1957 in Hahn (Wiehl) in North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Life

education and profession

Eversberg first grew up in the village of Hahn, then the family moved to the small town of Bergneustadt . He attended school there until 1977. After graduating from high school, he studied biology at the University of Würzburg and Kiel University from 1978 . He did his doctorate in Kiel at the Institute for Oceanography on biological processes in the sediments of the Bay of Kiel . From 1990 he worked in Bremerhaven for the University of Bremen .

He has been a househusband and father of two children since 1996.

politics

From 1991 Eversberg was active in the North-South Forum Bremerhaven . He has been a member of the Greens since 2000, a member of the district board since 2001 and since 2003 as a city ​​councilor and parliamentary group leader of the Greens in Bremerhaven. From 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the deputation for the fishing port of the Bremen citizenship.

In the 18th electoral term he was a member of the Bremen parliament (state parliament) from 2011 to 2015. He was represented in the Committee for Port Affairs in the State of Bremen, Committee for Integration, Federal and European Affairs, International Contacts and Development Cooperation, Budget and Finance Committee (Land), Petitions Committee (Land) and in the temporary committee "Extension of the right to vote" as well as in the State Deputation for Economy, Labor and Ports.
