Ulf Stark
Ulf Stark (born July 12, 1944 in Stockholm , Sweden ; † June 13, 2017 there ) was one of the most famous Swedish writers and screenwriters . He mainly wrote children's books .
Life
Ulf Stark was the son of a dentist, studied education and psychology and worked as a trainer for the Swedish employment office.
At the age of 20 he published Ett hål till livet , poems for adults, which were followed by two further books for adults in 1966 and 1967. In 1975 he wrote his first children's book. In 1984 he achieved his international breakthrough with the children's book Dårfinkar och dönickar ( Eng . Everyone thinks I'm a boy ). Several of his works have been filmed. Two years after the appearance of "Can you whistle, Johanna", awarded the Heffaklumpen in Sweden and the German Youth Literature Prize in Germany , the Swedish television adaptation was broadcast for the first time in 1994 around Christmas Eve . It has been doing this every year since then.
