Philip Waechter (2018)

Philip Waechter (* 1968 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German illustrator and author of children's books .

Life

Philip Waechter was born in 1968 as the son of the draftsman and cartoonist FK Waechter . He studied communication design with a focus on illustration at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences . In 1999 he founded the LABOR studio community together with Anke Kuhl and Moni Port in Frankfurt am Main . Philip Waechter lives as a freelance graphic designer, author and illustrator in Frankfurt am Main.
