Uli Grewe

Uli Grewe (* 1979 in Emsdetten ) is a German musician, Blue Man and comedian. The focus of his performances is a looper , with which it is possible to record and play individual acoustic sequences through speech, singing or beatboxing in order to perform music without instruments or a band.

Life

Grewe is a trained dental technician. After his apprenticeship, he completed training in dance, singing, acting, fencing and stage fighting at the Stage School of Music, Dance & Drama in Hamburg from 2000 to 2002 . He appeared at the VIVA Comedy Award in 2002. He joined a workshop for radio moderation at 1 Live under the care of Olli Briesch and Michael Dietz as part of the moderator casting 60 seconds show . Between 2005 and 2012 Grewe performed as part of the Blue Man Group in various locations, including New York , Berlin , Oberhausen , Zurich , Vienna and on board the Norwegian Epic . Grewe was seen on the NightWash Live Tour in 2012. On January 5, 2013 Grewe appeared in the RTL Comedy Grand Prix program on RTL Television .

Since September 26, 2013, Grewe has taken on the role of the musical sidekick at NightWash as the “jukebox incarnate” alongside the new presenter Luke Mockridge .

In 2013 he also took part in the 1LIVE Hörsaal Comedy Tour and was again a guest at the Quatsch Comedy Club in Berlin and Hamburg.

Awards

In 2003 Grewe won first place in the moderator casting organized by VIVA. He won the NightWash Talent Award in 2011. In the following year Grewe was able to win the ninth annual finale of the Quatsch Comedy Club “Talentschmiede” .
