Ulli Brenner
Ulli Brenner (* 1962 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe , Hessen ) is a German music producer and DJ .
Life
Ulli Brenner was born in Bad Homburg, Hessen, and graduated from the Kaiserin-Friedrich-Schule there (today: Kaiserin-Friedrich-Gymnasium ). He initially learned the profession of advertising clerk and marketing communications manager, but worked on his music career at the same time. In 1979 he started as a DJ in the Simon dance school in Bad Homburg , where Michael Cretu was already playing records. In 1980 he moved to the Frankfurt Club Vogue , later known internationally as Omen as the birthplace of techno. Brenner was Michael Münzing's successor as resident DJ at Dorian Gray at Frankfurt Airport from 1982 until Sven Väth took over from him in 1987 . From 1993 to 1998 he played in Paramount Park in Rödermark near Frankfurt am Main.
From 1994 Ulli Brenner was part of the resident team at the club nights of the Hessischer Rundfunk , the most renowned techno / trance radio show in Germany, together with Sven Väth , Mark Spoon , Talla 2XLC and DJ Dag .
He has been producing DJ mix records since 1984 and was awarded gold records. Together with Amir Saraf , Ulli Brenner produced the La Bouche project with Melanie Thornton in 1994 . The production becomes one of the most successful in Europe (number one in Germany and number five in the USA ); it has been awarded seven platinum and eleven gold plates. Under his own label "Edition Beam" / "Warner Chappel Music" he produces a variety of titles.
